Description: On April 8, 2015, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of 1306 Unionport Road in the Bronx. Without a warrant or probable cause, Plaintiff was approached by NYPD Officers Ronnette Cooper and Amaury Rivera, as well as two unidentified police officers. They proceeded to stop, search, grab, assault, batter, and detain Plaintiff, and they subjected him to a strip search. Plaintiff was taken to a police station and incarcerated for over 24 hours. Plaintiff was arraigned and falsely prosecuted with committing a crime. Plaintiff sustained physical and emotional pain and injuries as a result of this incident.
