Description: On August 1, 2019, Plaintiff Dominique Thomas called 911 to request assistance for an incident of domestic violence of which she was the victim. Several NYPD units, including P.O.s Veras, Padilla, Duran, Mota, Nunez, arrived at the scene. Rather than respond to Ms. Thomas' concern - the intoxicated man in here home who had battered her - the P.O.s wrongfully detained and arrested Ms. Thomas without probable cause while her attacker remained inside her home with her three children.
