Complaint
Description: On March 23, 2024 at approximately 8 PM, plaintiffs were present in the vicinity East 9th Street and Avenue D, where they were stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained in an agressive manner by police agent Jordan Gatesrollins and 10 unidentified (John Doe) police officers. Plaintiffs were falsely accused of having commited a crime, for which they remained incarcerated for over 24 hours. Eventually, all charges against the plaintiffs were terminated in the plaintiffs' favour. As a result of the foregoing, all of the plaintiffs have suffered physical and emotional injuries.
