Complaint
Description: On February 1, 2017, at approximately 8:57 p.m, in the vicinity of 61 Midland Avenue, Brooklyn, plaintiff was falsely arrested without any probably cause and various criminal charges were made agains him by defendant officer Reza Husain and others (together the "defendants"). All charges were ultimately dismissed on March 27, 2020. The charges were based on false allegations by the defendants and plaintiff was maliciously prosecuted. Defendants alleged that plaintiff had been trespassing at the time. In fact, plaintiff had been accompanied at 61 Melrose Street by a friend, who was a resident of 61 Melrose Street. Plaintiff was handcuffed and taken to a nearby precint in a police van. At the precinct the defenda...
