Description: On or about June 20, 2024, at approximately 5 p.m., NYPD officers including Officer Viera summarily stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained Plaintiff in an aggressive and excessive manner and without any legal justification. Plaintiff was handcuffed and taken to a police station. Plaintiff was arraigned after his arrest and falsely and maliciously persecuted for committing a crime. He remained incarcerated for over 24 hours and was required to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against him were terminated favorably.
