Description: On February 14, 2012, despite clear knowledge and evidence that Plaintiff was a victim of sex and human trafficking, Defendants arrested and pursued a malicious prosecution of her. Defendants pursued this prosecution with malice and in retaliation for her failure to cooperate in identifying pimps for the NYPD and DA's office. Defendants misled the grand jury regarding exculpatory information, including Plaintiff's status as a survivor of abuse and ongoing coercion in a sex and human trafficking scheme. Plaintiff was convicted and imprisoned where she was separated from her two young children.
