Complaint
Description: On June 25, 2018 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Plaintiff was lawfully in the vicinity of Boynton Avenue and Watson Avenue when Dets. Joussett Dejesus and Patrick Curran and POs John Doe and John Roe summarily stopped, searched, grabbed, assaulted, battered, and detained him in an aggressive and excessive manner as part of a racially-motivated "stop and frisk" program. While in custody Plaintiff was strip searched and maliciously prosecuted. Plaintiff was incarcerated for over 24 hours. The malicious prosecution required Plaintiff to make numerous court appearances over an extended period of time until all charges against him were terminated favorably.
