Description: On August 21, 2013, Leroy Atkins was operating his 2011 BMW on Atlantic Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue in Kings County, New York, when his vehicle was involved in a collision. The accident occurred after Mario Giordano, operating a 2009 Ford owned by the City of New York, and Chance Deespina, operating a 2003 Nissan owned by Kevin Suarez, collided with each other and subsequently with Atkins' vehicle. As a result of the collision, Leroy Atkins sustained severe and permanent personal injuries. The lawsuit alleges that the defendants were negligent in the operation, management, maintenance, and control of their respective vehicles, causing the accident.
