Complaint
Description: On or about April 6, 2022 at approximately 1:00pm in the vicinity of 4111 Laconia Avenue, Bronx, NY, Plainitiff was arrested and handcuffed after being directed to by defendant Police Officers Reginier and John Doe. At no time had Plaintiff engaged in any illegal or unlawful activity that would have warranted an arrested, nor was plaintiff in possession of a firearm. Defendants had no lawful authority to arrest the Plaintiff. At 47 precinct, Plaintiff was subjected to a strip search which recovered nothing of an illegal nature. On or about April 8, 2022, after spending several hours in Bronx County Central Booking, he was arraigned and charged with Attempted Murder and related offenses.

Description: On October 31, 2013, at approximately 6:30 p.m., plaintiff went to visit her sister-in-law's apartment, and when she knocked on the door, defendant NYPD officers opened the door, handcuffed and arrested plaintiff, then unlawfully searched her, which yielded no contraband. Despite having committed no crime, plaintiff was taken to the 47th Precinct, where she was interrogated. When she asked for a lawyer, the defendants turned off the lights in the interrogation room and beat her mercilessly, then pulled her from her chair and threw her her down, causing her mouth to slam into the ground, at which point she was punched and kicked.
