Description: On March 29, 2017, police officers stopped plaintiff Adolph Lewis with guns drawn and told them they had a warrant to search his apartment. They then arrested him. Plaintiffs Latrell Lewis, Meleshia Lewis, and Melissa Lewis were arrested in the apartment by officers with guns drawn, and officers pointed a gun at Meleshia's toddler. Plaintiffs were then detained at the 67th precinct for hours and falsely charged with unlawful possession of ammunition or marijuana, even though neither had been recovered in the apartment search. Description: On April 16, 2013, Plaintiff was arrested based on a felony complaint. Plaintiff was wrongly accused of handing a bag to another person with a gun inside. He testified the same to a grand jury and was released after four days in custody with all charges dropped. On May 21, 2013, Plaintiff was wrongly picked up from a housing area and taken to precinct on charges of trespassing. The Officers said the plaintiff "is the guy that beat the gun case." The officers fabricated the policy paperwork, complaint and supporting deposition out of malice and in realization for the first incident. The district attorney dismissed all charges.
