Description: On October 30, 2015, plaintiff was unlawfully arrested with excessive force on a Brooklyn sidewalk by defendant NYPD officers Joseph Reyes, Lalehan Singh, along with defendant NYPD Sergeant Thomas Massei, NYPD defendants forcibly entered a nearby premises without a warrant, then arrested numerous persons, including plaintiff, that were on the adjacent sidewalk. Plaintiff was processed at a local precinct, the DA declined to press charges against him. Plaintiff suffered physical and emotional injuries as a result of this incident.

Description: On December 11, 2014, Officer Lalchan Singh approached Andre Moore and knocked on his car window. Singh asked for a driver’s license and registration and stated that Moore’s windows were tinted too dark, and he would be receiving a ticket. Moore refused on grounds of his 4th and 5th amendment rights. Lieutenant Caine arrived and Moore repeated the same refusal. Caine told Singh to “lock this guy up.” Singh handcuffed Moore and searched the vehicle before taking him to the precinct. Charges against Moore were later dismissed.
