Description: On or about April 22, 2013, Leroy Pressley (plaintiff) was wrongfully arrested by members of the NYPD, including Officers Pierre, Roberts, Mara, Lavin, and Gamrat (defendants), for a shooting that occurred. The defendants entered the plaintiff home without a warrant or consent, conducted searches and arrested him without probable cause. The plaintiff was not informed of his Miranda rights.
The defendants manipulated a lineup identification procedure to ensure the plaintiff’s identification, despite a lack of credible evidence. Description: On August 9, 2011, Judge Camacho, after lowering plaintiff's bail, sent a warrant squad to his house, saying he was released on the wrong amount of bail. Judge Lopez signed off on a fraudulent search warrant for plaintiff's home and set an extremely high bail. Judge Lasak called the plaintff racial slurs and expressed a desire for the KKK to return. ADAs Brennan and Mccoy are accused of paying confidential informants to cooperate against the plaintiff. ADA Pete Lomp has withheld exculpatory evidence and coercing witnesses in plaintiff's homicide trial.

Description: On March 12, 2012, Plaintiff was in the living room of a residence when police executed a search warrant. A number of people fled the scene, while Plaintiff remained on site. Officers allegedly found five handguns in bedrooms. Plaintiff was arrested and held at the 105th Precinct. Officers falsely swore that Plaintiff had been in possession of the firearms in both charging documents and to the grand jury. On July 13, 2012, the court dismissed all charges, and Plaintiff was finally released from jail after four months.
