Complaint
Description: On or about April 20, 2024, Plaintiff was lawfully present at Bayview Park when NYPD members accosted her, physically assaulted her, forcibly detained her, and confiscated her license and denied her access to her cell phone. The officers repeatedly called her names, cursed at her, threatened her and verbally tormented her. This assault took place in public in front of other people, many of whom are known to the Plaintiff, much to her dismay and humiliation. She was also denied medical care while in custody.
