All charges were eventually dismissed after the grand jury refused to indict the plaintiff. On June 1st 2012, a defendant correction officer at Rikers RNDC verbally and physically assaulted plaintiff while other correction officers watched. Plaintiff was charged with assault on staff, arrested and placed in solitary confinement. All charges against plaintiff were dismissed.
