Description: On or about February 27, 2023, Plaintiff was hosting two friends for a barbecue at his home in Brooklyn, NY. Officers arrived at Plaintiff house, and Plaintiff refused to go outside or let them inside. Irritated, the Individual Defendants proceeded to enter through a neighbor's home, jump the fence, and break in through Plaintiff's kitchen. The officers had no lawful authority to enter the home - neither a warrant nor exigent circumstances existed at the time of entry. Several of the Individual Defendants entered the first floor of the home with their guns drawn and proceeded upstairs. Officers immediately placed Plaintiff under arrest. Complaint
Description: On May 18, 2014, defendants showed up at plaintiff's apartment and ordered that she open the door. Defendants explained to plaintiff that she was "causing problems" and that the landlord wanted her to leave the apartment. Plaintiff later went to the 104th precinct to explain the situation but received no assistance. Later that evening, defendant Rodriguez returned to plaintiff's apartment and again ordered her to leave the premises. Plaintiff complied. As she was leaving, plaintiff drew his gun, pointed it at plaintiff and threatened to remove her children, deport her and kill the family dog.
