Summary

At approximately 3:08 PM, [redacted] who was standing in the middle of 3rd Avenue just south of East 53rd Street and photographing a number of arrests occurring on the avenue, fell to the ground, allegedly causing one of her cameras and camera lens to break. Although [redacted] denied that any commands were issued to her or the other photographers with her, statements obtained from two other photographers as well as 49th Precinct PO Anthony Marks and Captain James Klein of the office of the Deputy Commissioner for Public Information indicated that commands were in fact issued for the photographers to get out of the avenue.
