Summary

He stated that on 2-2-05 at about 2:45 PM, he and his friend of two years, [redacted] were walking on Georgia Avenue between Riverdale and Livonia Avenues. They were going to their residence at [redacted] when they ran into three other friends on Livonia Avenue between Pennsylvania Avenue and Sheffield Avenue. [redacted] stated that he and [redacted] shook hands with the group and briefly spoke to them, but did not exchange anything with them. They then walked about two blocks, turned onto Georgia Avenue and began walking toward Riverdale Avenue.
At that point, two plainclothes police officers, later identified as POs Vincent Fontana and James Ryan of the 75th Precinct, ran up to them. The officers went straight to [redacted] and grabbed him, slammed him against a fence and began to search his pockets. [redacted] and [redacted] asked the officers what the problem was. PO Ryan responded, "Shut the fuck up, keep moving!" [redacted] first stated that he was four to seven feet away from [redacted] [redacted] denied making physical contact with the officers while they were dealing with [redacted] [redacted] used his cellular phone to call [redacted] who told him to get the officers' badge numbers and the precinct they belonged to. [redacted] asked PO Ryan for the information, but he said, "Shut the fuck up!" [redacted] then asked PO Fontana, who replied, "Brooklyn North Task Force." Neither officer provided their name or badge number. PO Ryan approached [redacted] and said, "Didn't I tell you to get the fuck out of here?" and [redacted] responded, "You can't be talking to people like that." PO Ryan used a cellular phone to make a call and said, "The guy with the black jacket on the corner needs to be dealt with."
