On June 28, 2005, at about 10:00 p.m., [redacted] a [redacted] -old male, approached an unmarked van in which two plainclothes officers, later identified as Officer Leroy Bedford and Officer Yuri Acomata of Narcotics Boro Brooklyn North were sitting. [redacted] pointed a video camera at the officers and both officers exited the van. PO Bedford then allegedly stated "Cut that fucking camera off," (allegation A) and asked [redacted] for his ID. [redacted] told PO Bedford that his ID was in a car across the street that belonged to his sister, [redacted]. He walked over to the car, got the ID, and handed it to PO Bedford. PO Bedford allegedly stated "You better not have any fucking warrants." PO Bedford and PO Acomata then allegedly used a flashlight to look into [redacted] s car. [redacted] was upset that officers were focused on his car so he asked his friend, [redacted] to move the vehicle. When [redacted] attempted to the move the car, he was arrested. [redacted] then walked into [redacted] and called his family to tell them about the car. When he got to the front door to exit the house, officers under the authority of Sergeant Roy Bocina allegedly knocked the door down.
