On December 17, 2005, at approximately 12:30 AM, [redacted] and his friend, [redacted] were each driving a car along Gold Street when they were stopped by police officers. [redacted]s vehicle was stopped for a traffic infraction by an unmarked RMP (number 482) containing SGT John Buttacavoli, PO Diana Mooney, and PO Karl Geiger from the 84th Precinct Anti-Crime. [redacted]s vehicle was stopped directly behind the initial vehicle stop by PO Vargas of PSA3, who happened to be driving by the scene at that time (Allegation A). [redacted] had two passengers, one male and one female, neither of whom have been identified. All three individuals were asked to step out of the vehicle and were subsequently frisked (Allegations B, C, and D) by the 84th Precinct officers. [redacted] alleges that while the individuals in the [redacted]s vehicle were outside of the vehicle, PO Mooney searched the vehicle (Allegation E). The individual's in [redacted]s vehicle were then allowed to leave with a warning.
