On August 15, 2014, at approximately 5:30 p.m., [redacted] and his friend [redacted] were walking in the vicinity of Albany Avenue between Lenox Road and Clarkson Avenue, in Brooklyn. While walking, [redacted] noticed that they were being followed by an unmarked blue van. [redacted] and [redacted] entered a corner store and one of the occupants of the van entered into the corner store. Once [redacted] and [redacted] exited the corner store the individual also exited. [redacted] and [redacted] continued to walk in the area and as they approached Lenox Road a grey 4-door Toyota Camry with license plate number [redacted] approached [redacted] and [redacted]. Three officers, identified as Det. Eugene Jonny, Det. Christopher Greiner and Det. Alex Rosario of Narcotics Borough Brooklyn South, exited the vehicle, and one of them told [redacted] and [redacted] to not move (Allegation A, B, and C). One of the detectives then approached [redacted] and another approached [redacted]. The detective who approached [redacted] put his hands inside of [redacted] pants pockets (Allegation D) and asked him, "Where is the gun?" The same detective then lifted up [redacted] shirt, pulled at [redacted] waistband and looked inside a bag that [redacted] had in his possession (within Allegation D). While this occurred a second detective searched inside [redacted] pockets (within Allegation D). After searching [redacted] and [redacted], [redacted] asked the detective who searched him for his name and shield number two to three times and the detective ignored him (Allegation E).
