Summary

On September 3, 2014, at approximately 11:53 p.m., [redacted] walked down [redacted] in the Bronx and saw a van with its sliding door slightly open. [redacted] looked into the car to check if anyone was dead inside. He closed the door and the alarm went off, so [redacted] walked away. Around the [redacted] and [redacted] intersection, [redacted] was approached by PO Derrick Kreckmann and PO Jammie Martinez of the 46th Precinct with guns pointed (Allegations A, B, C and D). PO Kreckmann told [redacted] to, "Shut the fuck up and face the fucking wall" (Allegation E). [redacted] alleged that an unknown officer performed a leg sweep on him and took him to the ground. [redacted] was kicked and punched several times by PO Kreckmann and PO Martinez on the ground (Allegation F and G). [redacted] lost consciousness and awoke in the hospital.
