On February 17, 2015, at approximately 10:30 pm, [redacted] and [redacted] were in a taxi cab on their way home from an art gallery in SoHo. They were intoxicated and [redacted] felt sick. The driver pulled over on Delancey Street between Orchard Street and Ludlow Street, in Manhattan, so that [redacted] could step outside. The driver believed that [redacted] and [redacted] were attempting to leave without paying the fare. He and [redacted] argued and then engaged in a physical altercation. [redacted] a friend of [redacted] and [redacted]s, happened upon the scene. He and the driver placed separate 911 calls. [redacted] was having a conversation with PO Allan Taeza of the 7th Precinct, and when [redacted] spoke, PO Taeza told her to "Shut the fuck up" (Allegation A). [redacted] asked PO Taeza for his name. PO Taeza responded, "It's right here," but did not provide it to [redacted] verbally (Allegation B). Read report for details.
