Further details on conclusions.
On May 12, 2015, at approximately 8:10 p.m., [redacted] entered the Belt Parkway at Merrick Boulevard in Queens and travelled westbound down the highway. [redacted] was driving a two door, champagne-grey 2002 Nissan Maxima. [redacted] s friend [redacted] was seated in the passenger's seat of the vehicle. A marked police vehicle drove behind [redacted] and activated its turret lights and sirens. Once [redacted] pulled over, PO Christopher Reiff, PO Javier Solis, and PO Steve Cruz from the 69th Precinct, exited the police vehicle. PO Reiff approached [redacted] Is driver's side window which was rolled down and requested his license and registration. [redacted] asked PO Reiff why he had been pulled over and PO Reiff allegedly said, "Shut the fuck up and give me your fucking license" (Allegation A). [redacted] and PO Reiff argued for approximately five minutes regarding the circumstances of the vehicle stop. At one point during the argument PO Reiff thought that [redacted] might be filming. PO Reiff then allegedly stuck his head inside [redacted] Is driver side window in order to observe whether or not [redacted] was actually filming the encounter (Allegation B). [redacted] ultimately received two summonses for tinted windows and a cracked windshield. Read report for details.
