Summary

On July 16, 2016, at approximately 7:20 PM, PO Carlos Pimentel of the PSA 6 Anti-Crime team, who was with Sgt. Christian Sanchez and PO Juan Carrero of the PSA 6 Anti-Crime team, stopped [redacted] on the northwest corner of West 154th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Manhattan (Allegation A). PO Carrero then allegedly asked [redacted] if he had any narcotics on his person (Allegation B), to which [redacted] responded that he did not. Subsequently, PO Pimentel allegedly searched [redacted] s right-side front and rear pants pockets (Allegation C) while PO Carrero allegedly reached into [redacted] left-side front and rear pants pockets (Allegation D). PO Pimentel recovered what was alleged to be a gravity knife from [redacted] s right-side front pants pocket, at which point he placed [redacted] under arrest. Sgt. Sanchez, PO Pimentel, and PO Carrero transported [redacted] to the PSA 6 stationhouse via RMP. At the PSA 6 stationhouse the officers lodged [redacted] in a cell.
