Summary

On November 3, 2017, at 6:00 p.m., Detective Patrick Smith and Detective John Bartek, both of the 83rd Precinct Detective Squad, went to [redacted] in Brooklyn to apprehend [redacted] the perpetrator listed in complaint report number [redacted]. Upon knocking on the door, [redacted] opened the door and Det. Smith asked him multiple times if [redacted] identified by the investigation as [redacted] was at the location. [redacted] said he was not and invited Det. Smith and Det. Bartek inside to look for him (Allegations A and B: Abuse of authority – Entry of Premises, [redacted]).
After entering, [redacted] sat on the sofa in the living room and Det. Smith continued to ask [redacted] about [redacted] When [redacted] attempted to speak, Det. Smith allegedly told him to "shut the fuck up" (Allegation C: Discourtesy – Word, [redacted]). [redacted] exited the bathroom and sat in the living room.
Det.
