Summary

On February 28, 2018, at about 7:11 p.m., [redacted] was inside of her apartment, located at [redacted] in Brooklyn, when she observed PO Renninton Belen and PO Darren Campbell of PSA 1 speaking to [redacted] her next-door neighbor, in the hallway leading to her apartment. [redacted] stood in the doorway of her apartment and recorded PO Belen and PO Campbell with her cellphone. PO Belen stated to [redacted] "Don't take pictures of me" and allegedly instructed her to turn off her phone and close her door (Allegation A: Abuse of authority – Interference with recording, [redacted] PO Belen then approached [redacted] s opened door and extended his hand toward her cellphone (also Allegation A: Abuse of authority – Interference with recording, [redacted] While doing so, PO Belen crossed the threshold of [redacted] s apartment (Allegation B: Abuse of authority - Entry of Premises, [redacted] After speaking to [redacted] inside of his apartment, PO Belen and PO Campbell left the location and [redacted] was not arrested or issued any summonses.
