Summary

On March 20, 2018, at approximately 11:30 a.m. [redacted] s daughter, [redacted] left [redacted] because she was not feeling well. In the vicinity of Campus Road and East 27th Street, in Brooklyn, PO Chanel Grenade and PO Goldy Felix, of the 70th Precinct, stopped [redacted] and requested her school ID. PO Grenade and PO Felix instructed [redacted] to get into their NYPD school van and [redacted] refused. PO Grenade and PO Felix grabbed [redacted] and attempted to push her into the van, placed her into handcuffs, and then dragged her into the van (Allegations A and B: Force, [redacted]). [redacted] was arrested for [redacted].
En route to the 70th Precinct stationhouse, PO Grenade said to PO Felix in reference to [redacted] "She's lucky I didn't slam her ass to the ground," (Allegation C: Discourtesy, [redacted]). I know you're classy. I heard you speak, so you need to calm down before you speak to them. They think we're all like that, and you need to show them that you're classy. Just be the classy lady I know you are," (Allegation E: Offensive Language, [redacted]). [redacted] told Det. Roldan that she wanted to file a complaint against PO Grenade and PO Felix. Det. Roldan told [redacted] that they did not have any complaint forms and instructed her to call the CCRB (Allegation F: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]).
