At approximately 3:30 p.m. on June 4, 2018, [redacted] was leaving the Rite-Aid store at 9738 Seaview Avenue in Brooklyn when he got onto his bicycle and pedaled down a ramp into the Rite-Aid parking lot. At the same time, Detective Dean Adams of Manhattan South Narcotics chased [redacted] toward the front of the ramp that [redacted] was going down. [redacted] ran through the grasp of Detective Adams and around [redacted] Detective Adams then collided with [redacted] knocking him off balance and into a parked van beside him (Allegation A: Force: [redacted] [redacted]s bicycle collided with the van as well, jamming the gears and making it impossible to pedal (Allegation B: Abuse of Authority – Property Damage: [redacted]).
