On January 3, 2019, [redacted] stood in line on the sidewalk outside of Masbia Soup Kitchen of Queens, when she grew impatient and tried to get to the front of the line. Other patrons of the Soup Kitchen told [redacted] that she could not skip them, and [redacted] a volunteer, told [redacted] to step back. [redacted] and the other patrons got into a physical altercation. [redacted] held [redacted] in a bear-hug, sitting on the sidewalk, while others called the police. Several officers arrived at the scene and circled around [redacted] and [redacted] released [redacted] who then remained seated on the sidewalk with her phone in her hands.
PO Myungdeuk Lee of the 112th Precinct told [redacted] to, "Stop fucking taking pictures of me...I'm going to fucking arrest you," (Allegation A: Discourtesy, Unfounded; Allegation B: Abuse of Authority, Unfounded; Allegation C: Abuse of Authority, Unfounded). PO Alexander Pilkington, also of the 112th Precinct, told [redacted] to stop taking pictures, adding that he was going to, "Fucking arrest you for taking pictures," (Allegation D: Abuse of Authority, Unsubstantiated; Allegation E: Discourtesy, Unfounded; Allegation F: Abuse of Authority: Unfounded). A Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps ambulance arrived with EMT [redacted] to remove [redacted] to the hospital, and she complied. PO David Pierson, of the 112th Precinct, escorted [redacted] to the ambulance by guiding her arm. [redacted] complained that his grip hurt her, to which PO Pierson replied, "Shut the fuck up...if you don't fucking comply, I'm going to have to fucking arrest you," (Allegation G: Discourtesy, Unfounded; Allegation H: Abuse of Authority, Unfounded). [redacted] was taken to the hospital, but left it of her own accord.
On January 5, 2019, [redacted] went to the 108th Precinct stationhouse to file a complaint against [redacted] for assault. [redacted] waited for several hours. Finally, she attempted to call the hospital emergency department to speak to an officer at the desk of the 108th Precinct....
