On January 2, 2019, at approximately 1:17 a.m., [redacted] called 311 from his home, [redacted], because he wanted to file a complaint against a taxi driver who had hit his dog twenty minutes prior. Police Officer Darren Mays and Police Officer Daniel Fleischman from the 104 Precinct responded to his call. [redacted] asked the officers to file a complaint against the taxi. PO Mays asked [redacted] for his information and [redacted] provided it. [redacted] then asked PO Mays for his information and PO Mays allegedly responded, "We'll give that to you later."
