At approximately 6:40 a.m. on May 24, 2019, three officers, Detective Daniel Silverio, Detective Michael Fratangelo, and Detective Christopher Heredia from the Manhattan Warrant Squad, went to [redacted] and [redacted]'s apartment, which was located at [redacted] in the Bronx, while they were babysitting their [redacted] granddaughter named, [redacted] While the officers were knocking on the front door, Detective Silverio allegedly threatened to damage the door if [redacted] did not open it (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority -Threat of Property Damage, [redacted]). [redacted] eventually opened the door and Detective Silverio allegedly told her that the officers had to enter the apartment, so [redacted] allowed them to come inside (Allegation B: Abuse of Authority - Entry, [redacted]).
Inside of the apartment, Detective Silverio accused [redacted] of knowing an individual that he was looking for named, "[redacted]" (Board Review 01). When [redacted] denied knowing that person, Detective Silverio allegedly threatened to take [redacted] away from her and he allegedly threatened to arrest [redacted] if she did not admit to knowing [redacted] (Allegation C: Abuse of Authority - Threat of ACS, [redacted] (Allegation D: Abuse of Authority - Threat of Arrest, [redacted]). [redacted] continued denying that accusation, so the officers allegedly searched around the apartment to ensure that [redacted] was not present (Allegation E: Abuse of Authority - Search of Premises, [redacted] (Allegation F: Abuse of Authority - Search of Premises, [redacted] (Allegation G: Abuse of Authority - Search of Premises, [redacted]).
