Summary

On June 11, 2019, at approximately 1:30 p.m., in the vicinity of Broadway and Lorimer Street in Brooklyn, [redacted] and a friend were walking to the J Train subway station, when Sgt. Lewis called out to [redacted]. [redacted] ran into the Lorimer Street J Train station, hopped the turnstile, and ran onto the subway tracks away from the station. Approximately 30 minutes later, [redacted] walked back along the tracks, exited the subway station, wherein he saw Sgt. Lewis and a group of officers waiting for him. After [redacted] ran through a parking lot, Police Officer Stephen Sheppard and Police Officer Volkan Maden of the 90th Precinct, chased him and tackled him from behind at the intersection of Manhattan Avenue and Seigel Street (Allegation A: Force-Physical Force, [redacted]).
