On July 7, 2019, at approximately 4:22 a.m., Police Officer Hassan Paris and Police Officer Jonathan Ruiz-both from the 78th Precinct-responded to a radio run for a family dispute between [redacted] and her mother, [redacted] at their shared residence, located at [redacted] in Brooklyn. [redacted] owns the residence. Using a hammer and tacks or nails, PO Paris installed a mesh screen over the doorframe atop the stairwell down to the cellar, which did not have a door, damaging [redacted]'s property in the process (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). [redacted] and PO Paris argued about the mesh screen and whether she needed to have a door in that doorway.
