Summary

On February 11, 2020, at approximately 11:10 AM, the vicinity of West 54th Street and 9th Avenue in Manhattan, [redacted] drove a yellow Nissan Nv-200 taxi cab. [redacted] waited at a traffic light behind two additional vehicles. When the light turned green, [redacted] continued to drive. At this time, Police Officer Jonathan Acquaviva of the 18th Precinct pulled [redacted] over. PO Acquaviva approached [redacted] and told [redacted] that he made an improper turn at the traffic light. PO Acquaviva requested [redacted] ID and told him that he will be issued a summons. PO Acquaviva went back to his vehicle. When PO Acquaviva returned with [redacted] documents and Summons #[redacted] (Board Review 14), for making an improper turn, [redacted] disputed that he made an improper turn at the traffic light. [redacted] pointed his finger at PO Acquaviva's face and called PO Acquaviva "a piece of shit". PO Acquaviva punched [redacted] hand away (Allegation A: Force, [redacted] PO Acquaviva asked for [redacted] ID for a second time. [redacted] refused. [redacted] told PO Acquaviva that he will file a complaint against him.
