Summary

On June 4, 2020, at approximately 7:40 p.m., [redacted] and [redacted] were walking home after checking on neighbors in the Mott Haven area of the Bronx due to a large protest occurring in the area. Lieutenant Eric Konoski, Detective Andres Gomez, Police Officer Jose Cordero, and Police Officer Jimmy Perez, all of Police Service Area (PSA) 7 were in the vicinity of East 137th Street and Brook Avenue in the Bronx in response to requests for additional units. At East 137th Street and Brook Avenue, Lieutenant Konoski stopped [redacted] (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority, [redacted]). Lieutenant Konoski grabbed [redacted] left arm and twisted it behind her back to arrest her (Allegation B: Force, [redacted]). Unidentified officers allegedly pushed [redacted] and [redacted] away from the area in which [redacted] was being arrested (Allegations C and D: Force, [redacted]). An officer allegedly struck [redacted] with a baton (Allegation E: Force, officer unidentified).
