On May 26, 2020, at approximately 1:58 a.m., Police Officer David Damico, Police Officer William Russ, Police Officer James Hamilton, Police Officer James Fowler, Police Officer Ibasan, Police Officer Selena Lopez, and Police Officer Javier Goin, all assigned to the 73rd Precinct, responded to a call for officers in need of assistance and shots being fired at [redacted]. Upon arrival, officers pushed individuals (Allegation A: Force, [redacted]). An officer pushed [redacted] to the ground (Allegation B: Force, [redacted]). While on the ground, officers punched, kicked, and kneed [redacted] (Allegation C: Force, [redacted]).
PO Damico allegedly pushed [redacted] in the chest approximately six times (Allegation D: Force, [redacted]). PO Damico punched [redacted] in the face (Allegation E: Force, [redacted]). Officers allegedly threw [redacted] face-first against the hood of a parked car (Allegation F: Force, [redacted]). During this time, an officer pulled [redacted] hair from behind (Allegation G: Force, [redacted]). PO Fowler said to [redacted] "You talk too fucking much," (Allegation H: Discourtesy, [redacted]).
While escorting [redacted] to a police vehicle, PO Hamilton said to her, "You can call him yourself down at the fucking precinct" (Allegation I: Discourtesy, [redacted]). While transporting [redacted] to the 73rd Precinct stationhouse, PO Damico allegedly said, "So what, you fat (and/or) black bitch" (Allegations J and K: Offensive Language, [redacted]; Allegations L and M: Discourtesy, [redacted]).
[redacted] was arrested for [redacted] (Board Review 01). [redacted] was not arrested nor was he issued any summonses as a result of this incident.
