At approximately 6:58 p.m. on August 25, 2020, [redacted] and [redacted] were sitting in the parking lot of a laundromat at 803 Soundview Avenue in the Bronx. [redacted] who was 82 months pregnant, sat in the passenger seat of their vehicle with the passenger door open, and [redacted] sat in a lawn chair outside the car immediately next to her. Police Officers Miguel Perea and Freddy Difo of Police Service Area 8 arrived in an unmarked vehicle and approached the couple. One officer allegedly asked [redacted] if he had any weapons on him (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority-Question, [redacted]). Police Officer Perea asked [redacted] to stand up and take off the small messenger bag he was wearing; [redacted] took it off and handed it to [redacted] who was still sitting in the car. Both officers asked [redacted] to hand them the bag, but she refused to give it to them. [redacted] turned around and began running toward the open passenger door as Police Officer Difo ran behind her.
