Description: On December 16, 2017, plaintiff Darlene Oliver was at home when Police Sergeant Szot and Police Officer Miah knocked on her door. Plaintiff had recently got into an altercation with a neighbor prior to the police arriving. PO Szot and Miah questioned and requested plaintiff's identification and plaintiff said she needed to get it from a friends car. Szot and Miah allowed her to do so, and as plaintiff walked down stairs to get her ID she noticed the aforementioned neighbor and 15 other police officers which included PO Miguel Perea, PO Szot; PO Daniel Rangel, Police Sergeant Jose Martinez and PO Christian Valencia. PO Perea unexpectedly slammed plaintiff into a wall with excessive force and then handcuffed her...
