Summary

On October 2, 2020, at approximately 8:55 p.m., [redacted] was driving his vehicle accompanied by his friend, [redacted] when he was pulled over by Det. Alvaro Contreras and PO Delton Ng of Patrol Borough Brooklyn South's Auto Larceny Unit in front of 181 Rockaway Parkway in Brooklyn (Allegations A and B: Abuse of Authority, unsubstantiated). Sgt. Thomas Redmond and PO Michael Sidorskiy of Patrol Borough Brooklyn South's Auto Larceny Unit assisted on scene. Officers asked both individuals out of the vehicle and PO Ng frisked [redacted] while Det. Contreras frisked [redacted] (Allegations C and D: Abuse of Authority, substantiated). [redacted] alleged that Det. Contreras searched his pockets (Allegation E: Abuse of Authority, unfounded). PO Ng searched [redacted] vehicle (Allegation F: Abuse of Authority, substantiated). Officers directed [redacted] back into the vehicle. Det. Contreras directed [redacted] to open the trunk of his vehicle and Sgt. Contreras and PO Sidorskiy told [redacted] he could be arrested for an active arrest warrant (Allegation O and P: Abuse of Authority, unsubstantiated).
