On April 4, 2022, at approximately 2:13pm, PO Joanna Derkacz, PO Jordan Brandwein, PO Marco Libongco, Lt. Mohammad Ishrat and additional officers of the 112th Precinct responded to [redacted] in Queens, regarding a 911 call placed by [redacted] mother, [redacted] who does not live at the residence. The 911 Call alleged that [redacted] threatened to harm herself. PO Derkacz and PO Brandwein were the first to respond. PO Derkacz spoke with [redacted] and entered [redacted] (Allegation A: Abuse of Authority: [redacted]). The remaining officers arrived, followed by EMS, who made the decision to take [redacted] to the hospital. [redacted] refused to go to the hospital and locked herself in the bathroom. [redacted] opened the door and officers pushed her out of the bathroom (Allegation B: Abuse of Authority: [redacted]). PO Libongco pointed his Taser (CEW) at [redacted] and issued a laser warning (Allegation C: Abuse of Authority: [redacted]). [redacted] left the apartment with the officers but refused to hand over her keys. In the lobby, PO Libongco pointed his Taser at [redacted] again, and issued a command to hand over her keys.
