On April 23, 2023, at approximately 11:30 a.m., PO Nicholas Stolfaryder of the 14th Precinct allegedly grabbed [redacted] as he was driving his motorcycle down 9th Avenue on West 36th Street in Manhattan (Allegation A: Force, Unfounded). PO James Mariconi and other officers from the 14th Precinct came over from across the street, and the officers asked [redacted] for his ID. [redacted] refused to provide it, and PO Mariconi told [redacted] that he would be arrested if he did not provide his ID (Allegation B: Abuse of Authority, Within NYPD Guidelines).
