Summary

On September 09, 2023, at approximately 10:26 PM, Detective Estharlin Lopez and Detective Corey Graves, both of Criminal Intelligence Section, worked at a pop-up concert at the Sweet Chick restaurant, located at 178 Ludlow Street in Manhattan. After Ludlow Street was closed to pedestrian traffic at the intersection of East Houston Street, several officers escorted [redacted] out of a restricted area on Ludlow Street after he refused to leave. Det. Lopez punched [redacted] in the head several times before arresting him and removing him to the 7th Precinct stationhouse (Allegation A – Force: [redacted]).
On September 10, 2023, at approximately 12:40 AM, after the conclusion of the pop-up concert at the Sweet Chick restaurant, [redacted] stood on the sidewalk outside the restaurant. Detective Jonathan Bourne, of Criminal Intelligence Section, punched [redacted] in the face after she bumped into him from behind (Allegation B – Force: [redacted]). [redacted] followed Det. Bourne and repeatedly requested his name and his shield number, which he refused to provide. Det.
