Summary

On November 4, 2023, at approximately 7:54 P.M., [redacted] and [redacted] had a dispute with [redacted] in front of the 79th Precinct stationhouse. Police Officers John Peloso, Maricel Zambrano-Mieles, Masudur Khondokar, Jared Alexander, Jason McGowan, and Sabrina Caride, and Sergeant Michelle Giglio, of the 79th Precinct, responded. [redacted] spat on PO Peloso, who then said, "Get that bitch" (Allegation A and B: Offensive Language – Gender, Discourtesy – Word; substantiated). [redacted] ran away, and PO Khondokar, PO Alexander, and PO Peloso used physical force to apprehend her (Allegations C, D, and E: Force - Physical Force, within NYPD guidelines). As [redacted] attempted to walk toward [redacted] PO Khondokar pushed him away (Allegation F: Force - Physical Force, within NYPD guidelines). [redacted] walked back toward the scene, and Sgt. Inside the juvenile interrogation room, PO Zambrano-Mieles deactivated her body-worn camera (BWC) and did not reactivate it before saying to [redacted] "You're a dickhead.
