Complaint
Description: On March 5, 2014, Plaintiff Mark Fogel was imprisoned overnight by Defendant police officers Edward Blanco, Fernando Cazares, and Jose Brizuela for approximately 19 hours. After the imprisonment, the defendants initiated a criminal proceeding against the plaintiff. The arrest and incarceration were baseless and not supported by any evidence. The criminal proceeding went to trial and on January 6, 2015 Plaintiff Mark Fogel was acquitted of all charges.
