Description: On October 31, 2016, plaintiff (Christian Achee) was on a run when he was stopped by NYPD officers Edward Silvester, Michael Mendola, William Schroder, Lewis, and Antoine. Without justification, the officers tightly handcuffed plaintiff, tasered him, and dragged him on the ground. Plaintiff was transported to Jamaica Hospital and remained in police custody until he was released on November 1, 2016. On November 3, 2016, officers kicked open the door leading into plaintiffs’ (Christian and Maushea Achee) residence without warning and assaulted them.
