Complaint
Description: On August 22, 2015, defendant police officers, without any probable cause or legal justification, approached plaintiff and forcibly restrained and arrested plaintiff. Plaintiff was placed and maced in a NYPD van, where he was kicked, punched, and stepped on by defendants when he asked questions about the arrest. Plaintiff was severely injured and then taken to the hospital, and he was then handcuffed and transported to central booking. During arraignment, plaintiff was falsely prosecuted with criminal charges. All charges against him were eventually dismissed. As a result of the incident, plaintiff sustained severe physical injuries and emotional damages.
