Eventually, the police officers caught up with the boys and ordered them to put their hands up and stand against a wall (it is unclear if this occurred inside or outside the building); the boys complied. The police officers questioned the boys and told them to sit on the floor. In response, M.J. and the other boy cursed at the police officers, and defendant Duffany responded by sweeping M.J. off of his feet with a kick....
