Complaint
Description: On or about December 3, 2019, Plaintiff Dierdre Livingston, in person, and Plaintiff Tara Schilling, via FaceTime, were visiting their sister in hospice at Mt. Sinai Hospital when, after being refused access to their sister and threatened by Mt. Sinai employees Defendant Gary Joe Walsh and Debra "Doe," Plaintiff's called the police for assistance. Defendant Officers Tollis (Shield No. 7293) and Berk (Shield No. 1657) arrived on the scene. The Defendant Officers then took Walsh and Livingston, with Schilling on FaceTime, into a small room. Officer Tollis hung up the FaceTime call on Schilling and confiscated Livingston's phone. The Defendant Officers insisted Livingston remain alone in the small room with Defend...
