Description: On May 14, 2019, Plaintiff was a lawful pedestrian on a street in the Bronx. He walked past a police vehicle which contained defendants Woods and Oakley. Defendants Martinez and Adeniyi were standing outside of the police vehicle. Plaintiff walked past the vehicle and one of the defendant officers said "what the fuck did you say to me?" Plaintiff responded by saying "I don't fuck with the police" and continued walking. Defendant Adeniyi then charged at the plaintiff and punched him in the face. The defendant officers then slammed the plaintiff to the ground causing additional injuries. Plaintiff was arrested and taken to a precinct. Ultimately the DA declined to prosecute any charges against Plaintiff.
