Description: On May 14, 2013, plaintiff was walking with he was accosted by officers Rodriguez and Iovene. They thew him to the ground and handcuffed him and took his money. He was then taken to the precinct, where he was subjected to a strip and cavity search and then taken to the hospital in a straight jacket for a psychological evaluation. He was released that night, and his summons for disorderly conduct was dismissed. His money was not returned or vouchered.

Description: On April 17, 2012, Plaintiff and his father saw a commotion involving NYPD officers near Plaintiff’s home. As NYPD officers asked everyone to disperse, Plaintiff and his father began walking back toward their home. Suddenly, Defendant Officer O’Keefe approached Plaintiff and shoved him. Other Defendant officers joined in and grabbed Plaintiff without explanation. Plaintiff was spun around, and his head slammed into the police car. Plaintiff was arrested without reasonable suspicion or probable cause and taken to the police car in handcuffs. Plaintiff was visibly injured, including abrasions to his forehead, cheek and chin.
